Hate mail arouses me

On the heels of my copyright infringement email (best. email. ever.) I received the second best email ever, this one was hate mail.  Evidently with Iran in the news lately posturing, testing missiles, and saber rattling, some dude found an old post (or two) from my site stating my position in Iran and the middle-east and took exception to it.  In this beautiful piece of hate mail, the dude posits that I am a bleeding heart liberal, a democrat, and recent college grad, I really thought this was special.  My most liberal trait is my belief in free speech, I am closing in on 40, I am a corporate raider, and I am a registered republican.  I would actually classify myself (if I had to classify myself) as an independent but fiscal conservative with strong opinions about everything.  And like most people with strong opinions, if your opinion is different than mine, then you are wrong.  So Mr. Neo-Conservative Bush lover, you are wrong, and my new favorite fucktard.  You should at least get to know somebody a bit more before taking the time to write a 4 paragraph insult laden hate mail, all of that info about me are in my posts.

Continuing on with my trend of free speech, I have posted this wonderful example of religious right focused sheep-like rage below including the email of the author “unityislife”.  What a great email handle, especially when you are a person who obviously hates Muslims or people who have different views of your own, you probably don’t even see just how big a hypocrite you are using that handle.  Click this link, it is a definition of unity, that might help in your education.  I included the email address in case you wanted to chat with him about his political views or help him petition for universal health-care or host some welfare people.  Check it out, you’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll lose 10 iq points.

Hey Dipshit,

Get your head out of your ass about Iran - they are a threat. They just tested missiles for the second day in a row. Ones capable of hitting Israel and the Straight of Hormuz. (which they have already threatened to shut down - and in case you aren’t aware, the Straight of Hormuz traffics roughly 40% of the world’s oil supply) If you take your head out of the liberal left’s lap long enough to do a little research you will find that Islam, whether Shiite, Sunni or otherwise has one main goal - that is to convert the infadels or kill them. Read a book about it sometime, or better yet pick up the Koran you asswipe. (Once you’ve picked it up - actually open it an read a little.)

Ever hear of the Iran hostage crisis? Based on your lack of respect for our country and the smacked-ass recent college grad vernacular with which you berate everything NOT liberal, it is probable that you have no historical perspective on Iran’s unwarranted hatred for everything West. (see item A - it’s a key component to Islamo-facism) You should also find it interesting to note Mr. Diatribe, that one of the orchestrators of the taking of 70 innocent Americans and holding them against their will for 444 days was none other than Mr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the current President of Iran!  The very same man that calls for the destruction of Isreal at least once a week. The very same man who espouses doubts that the Holocaust or 9/11 ever happened. The very same administration that has been seeking nuclear capability for the past several years! Bush’s position on Iran is not “an agenda of agression” you bafoon! It is defensive posturing directed at a maniac terrorist who is holding a country of innocent Iranian citizens hostage and seeks to “wipe off the face of the earth” (in his words) Isreal and anything or anyone un-Islamic.

Bottom line, the Clinton administration was just as corrupt as every last one of them. He was getting his little dick sucked in the Oval Office while we were being attacked by Islamic terrorist the whole eight years he was in office. You tell me he was focused on this country’s well-being. He sure was great at dismantling the FBI and CIA though! Way to go Bill! Everything he accomplished worth a shit was at the hand of a very pursuasive Republican Congress. You appeasing liberals have been pushing the policy of coddling these dictators far too long and it’s about to smack us in the face. And when it does there is no doubt you will find a Republican and/or Conservative to blame.

Do us all a favor and pack up your Burkenstocks, your wire-rimmed glasses, your Yoko Ono records, incents, roach clips, and peace sign posters - put them in your 67 VW bus or Toyota Prius and board a ferry to the country of any one of these third world despots you love to defend. If you survive for more than a few days - let me know how it is. I’m so tired of you drivling, snot-nosed elitist liberals/democrats hating this country.

If you don’t like it here, get the fuck out!

Cordially,

Intelligent, Educated, Patriotic American

Intelligent:  Nope, you can’t even figure out how to use the spell checker, you misspelled infidels, aggression, buffoon, persuasive, Birkenstock, incense, and driveling.  Plus you don’t get what unity really is (unless you beleive that to make the world one is successful only if you make the world white and protestant).

Educated:  see above

Patriotic:  By patriot you must mean blind loyalty to the current administration.  I think I am much more of a patriot by questioning authority, not by being a sheep to the Bush-Cheney evil empire.

God bless you unityislife, Jebus and the TotalDiatribe love you.

Huckabee, did I say scary?

In late December I called Huckabee a scary dude, now I’m leaning towards shocking and terrifying. Hungry Mother filled me in on Huckabee’s inflammatory comments regarding changing the constitution (click here for youtube clip). Here was what Huckabee had to say (click here for full article):

“[Some of my opponents] do not want to change the Constitution, but I believe it’s a lot easier to change the constitution than it would be to change the word of the living God, and that’s what we need to do is to amend the Constitution so it’s in God’s standards rather than try to change God’s standards

Steve over at the Axis recently had these words to say about the matter:

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present you with your Republican winner of the Iowa caucus, Mr. Osama Bin Laden. Ooops, did I say that? It appears that I got my fundamentalist extremists confused there for a minute. I believe that was actually Mike Huckabee who won in Iowa.

I couldn’t agree with Steve more, we talk about State run terrorism and Islamic Extremists, but look no further than our own backyard, Bush has always flirted with the Religious Right and our extremist Evangelical Christians for votes, cash, and sex (I’m just guessing about the sex), but Huckabee has drunk the Kool-Aid.

However. The crack Total Diatribe action propaganda news-team has uncovered that Huckabee is only pretending to be a Christian conservative, yeah sure he was a former Baptist Minister, but we have uncovered his true mentor and spiritual guide. Who could this be you ask? None other than that guy from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, I know it is shocking, but as far as religious extremists go, one is no better than the other. Please see the obviously real, and not doctored in any way, visual evidence laid out below for proof. God (pun intended) have mercy on our souls if this guy is elected.

Is Coulter crazy or is it an act - Part 2

Published by billymac under ethics, media, politics, religious right

The mainstream media (ABCnews in this case) is starting to report the same sentiments from my original post about Ann Coulter.  In this particular article on ABCnews entitled Ann Coulter: Marketing Genius?, they had the following things to say:

“I think [her comments] are highly calculated,” said Liam O’Brien, an expert in media criticism and pop culture at Quinnipiac University. “I’m not sure she knows what trigger on which verbal gun she is going to pull at any given moment, but I think at any particular time, she has three or four of these things that are controversial and inflammatory enough to get national press notice above and beyond whatever the topic is of her book or the talk show.”

Coincidence or not, a few of Coulter’s book releases have, in fact, coincided with a remark that has ignited a media frenzy.

Big surprise, unfortunately, her base of extreme right wing morons and village idiots will still buy her books.  Let’s hope the Coulter haters wake up and stop giving her the attention and stop buying her books.  People need to start expressing their opinions with their wallets.

Is Coulter crazy or is it an act?

Ann Coulter made the news again Friday with her comments that “we want Jews to be perfected”.  Ann has increasingly said and has been quoted with absurd cartoon-like radical right wing sentiments.  Her latest can be seen in a CNN.com article quoted:

Asked by CNBC host Donny Deutsch what the U.S. looks like in her dreams, Coulter said it would look like the Republican National Convention in 2004

“People were happy,” she said, according to a transcript provided to CNN by CNBC. “They’re Christian. They’re tolerant. They defend America.” When Deutsch responded, “It would be better if we were all Christian?” Coulter said “Yeah.”

Deutsch, himself Jewish, continued to press Coulter on her remarks, asking, “We should just throw Judaism away and we should all be Christians then?”

“Yeah,” Coulter responded, adding “Well, it’s a lot easier. It’s kind of a fast track.”

“You can’t possibly believe that,” Deutsch responded. “You can’t possibly. You’re too educated.”

“Do you know what Christianity is?” Coulter replied. “See, we believe your religion, but you have to obey. We have the fast track program.”

In my opinion, Coulter is now officially playing a character, she is a satire of her former self.  Coulter knows her place and it is a niche that plays to the extreme right wing, and she knows this caricature that she is playing will make the press and sell books.  And, like Howard Stern, make enough controversy and the people that hate you will buy your books too.  I liken it to Jessica Simpson on her former reality show, she played up the ditsy blond thing for the cameras because it worked and made it popular.

Obama says hold on GOP, we Dems can pander to the religious right too

Democrat pinup boy Barack Obama was quoted in the following CNN.com article:

“I think it’s important, particularly for those of us in the Democratic Party, to not cede values and faith to any one party,”

Well I think it’s important that you shut the F up about religion, we’re not electing a religious leader, we’re electing the leader of our country.  Quit pandering and stick to the issues pretty-boy, besides, you are waaaay out of your league if you think you can jump on the religious right bandwagon.

McCain puts McFoot in mouth

Oops (he) did it again… oh wait, that was the other “news” this evening.  It looks like McCain stepped in it again, this time while he was stumping to the religious right he stated that he would prefer a Christian President, pissing off non-Christian groups.  McCain had this to say in the following CNN.com excerpt (click here for full article):

On Sunday night, McCain sought to clarify his remarks while campaigning in Hollis, New Hampshire. “What I do mean to say is the United States of America was founded on the values of Judeo-Christian values, which were translated by our founding fathers which is basically the rights of human dignity and human rights,” he said.

“I believe that anyone can be president of the United States of any faith,” McCain said, saying he was angry his remarks were misinterpreted but “there’s nothing I can do about it.”

Sure there is John, you can start by stop pandering…
