Next thing he knows a Doylestown cop is standing at his door giving him the option of a citation for disorderly conduct or going to jail. How ridiculous is that?! Only in Doylestown would the police actually spend their time and taxpayers money on something as frivolous as this. The funny part about this whole ordeal is that it really has gotten blown waaaay out of proportion, I mean, it was on the front page of foxnews.com and msnbc.com last weekend, and practically every newspaper in the country has picked up this story. All Dave wanted to do by taking this to court was to clear his name, not create nationwide attention. The thing that makes the entire situation even more hysterical to myself and husband is the fact that Mr. Binner was the best man at our wedding last April. In any case, join me in sending the Doylestown Police Department a little piece of how we feel in the matter in the form of a well written check :-). The key word in what the police chief said was "obscenity". Many towns do have laws against public obscenities. It's not a matter of what you can say, but rather where you can say it. However, with the KKK deal I definitely agree with you. And it's funny how those things work themselves out sometimes, isn't it? Anyhow, I have something here you may have missed.
