Hungry Mother from Random Thoughts gave out a limp tag for the 7 weird facts meme, I’ve taken up the meme because deep deep down I like to talk about myself and how much I rule.  HM’s limp tag was a call for 7 folks from his blog-roll to take up the meme without a direct tag, I will also follow this logic, however my blog-roll is not as large.  If you’re on it (my blog-roll that is, not crack) post on the meme, or not, what-the-fuck-ever, just leave a comment to let us know if you took it up.

7 Weird Facts About Myself

• I attended Mardi Gras in New Orleans 7 years in a row (and even remember bits and pieces of one of the trips)
• I worked as the “beer guy” for a minor league baseball team in Knoxville, TN one summer
• I played Rugby in college and after college for around 8 or 9 years
• My luggage was lost in Cebu City, Philippines for 3 days on a business trip and I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt
• I was a celebrity in Shanghai, China for a couple of days, again on a business trip, who knew that big white guys are a draw in China?  (I had people following me with video cameras and posing me with their kids and shit)
• I worked at a summer sleep-away camp for 4 summers while in college (thats right, I was molding and forming young minds bitches!)
• I failed/dropped out of two Universities but actually got degrees at two different Universities… eventually

Who does Bush and his cronies think he is fooling?  The Bush administration is desperate to salvage a legacy and take the focus off of the epic failures in foreign policy, domestic policy, and the failures in Iraq (let alone the incredible damage to the economy).  Bushy-poo the benevolent, will now bring peace to the Palestinians and Israelis, he will finally bring peace where many many others have failed.  Does the plan to have a Palestinian-Israeli peace accord by the end of 2008 seem a bit to convenient to you?  I’m actually insulted that this administration thinks so little of the American people.  Click here for a CNN.com propaganda article regarding the peace process.

In honor of Black Friday, I have a selection of my favorite commercials to show you.  My father, I’m sure, is unbelievably appalled that I would show hated commercials on my site.  I too hate commercials, but some are funny enough (I will probably still not buy their products, but whatever).  My philosophy on commercials is counter to what the ad-agency assholes are going for, if a commercial is annoying or really bad, I will probably go out of my way not to buy their products.

Dr. Jan Adams, douchebag, tool… douche-tool.  Why would you go on national live television to say you will not talk about an event publicly (and thus surprising the host Larry King)?  The answer, because you’re a fucking ass-wad.  He could have written a letter, sent an email, used semaphore, had a private conversation, basically, he could have communicated to Larry King his position in a myriad of ways but he chose to put himself on TV.  This asshole probably thinks he’s doing the noble thing and will look good respecting the wishes of the West family, sure, but do it off the air.  The real answer, because YOU WANTED TO BE ON TV, attention whore.

I’m on vacation this week, which will mildly disrupt my rants and rages, I think I’ll still be able to pop online to squeeze a few off from time to time.

Like today for example.  We left for vacation this morning @ 5:20 AM from our warm and cozy home in the Atlanta area, destination, someplace in Pennsylvania today, and then New York tomorrow, Brooklyn Wed, Philly Wed, Jersey Friday, then home Sunday.  We have a full tank of gas, no cigarettes, no sunglasses, it’s daytime, 2 small kids, no-sanity, and a shit-load of toys to distract the kids.  Today’s haul, 12 solid hours yo!  All in all not a bad trip, not too many tantrums etc.  BUT, I can tell you, Virginia and specifically I-81 in Virginia can suck my balls.  I’ve driven this route a bunch of times, but am amazed at how fucking boring it is every-time, must be some repressive shit going on there in my head… I probably won’t remember this in the morning.
