If you haven’t seen these little gems I highly recommend them, there are a few duds but for the most part they will make you chuckle or snarf milk out of your nose (if you’re desperate for a laugh). One of my favorites is the Superman one… check it out below.
I caught most of the 60 Minutes interview of Clarence Thomas this evening between screaming fits of rage from my children. I was impressed with his candor and at how well spoken he was. Check out his wikipedia page here for more info. I agree with some of his stances (free speech for the most part) and disagree with others (his stance on the executive). I still love the term “we’re going to Bork him” used in reference to the nomination hearings, our Congressmen and Senators are dirty dirty people. And, it’s a damn shame that the Anita Hill pubic hair thing will follow him to the grave and beyond.
The Ron Paul campaign got a shot in arm by raising 1 Million bucks in less than 7 days, extraordinary for a grassroots campaign…. Dr. Paul will certainly gain some additional media attention for this.
I find myself in uncharted territory politically, I am in support and am supporting a Republican candidate for the first time in my life. I’m no die hard Democrat, but I’ve been a registered Democrat since I became eligible to vote. I’ve always considered myself an independent that leaned more Democrat than Republican, but as I grew older, began a career, and advanced I found myself leaning more and more conservatively (at least fiscally). I hadn’t heard much about Ron Paul, I vaguely remembered the Libertarian Presidential bid in the 80’s but I did however catch one of the early debates and was very intrigued by him.  This is a candidate that was making sense to me and not spewing forth the typical crap I expected, and received,  from the other candidates.
I still think the GOP is full of rich corrupt SOB’s and the Democrats are full of whiny little babies that deep down inside wish they were rich corrupt SOB’s. Dr. Paul is the only guy making sense to me out of the bunch.
Letting kids drink early reduces binging…. Where was this shit when I was growing up? I learned to drink like the rest of us, puking on grain punch at a college party in 8th grade (that’s normal right?). On the surface this seems to make sense as many You’re-a-peein nations subscribe to this philosophy with some success, Germany doesn’t count. On the other hand, can you imagine the “cool” parents that will abuse this philosophy? (I’m looking at you West Virginia and Mississippi).
